I like this place when I need a massage and can't wait for an appointment with my regular therapist. I've received great work here for a competitive price! I only wish I could voice my needs better; there is a bit of a language barrier.

I've been here several times before but it has been at least a year. I remember it being good and so I stopped by tonight since my lower back was bothering me. The massage was top notch and I was very impressed! The place was clean, quiet and very relaxing. Highly recommended! I'll be back soon.

I’ve gone to this spot a few times now and I don’t leave disappointed. I agree—it’s no frills but they get the job done w/ very affordable pricing. The only thing...when you go, they ask you to mark which areas of the body you want extra attention and mark the areas off limits. Now mind you, I don’t get massages every week but I’m definitely not a novice. But, I should have marked my glutes as off limits...it was....surprising to say the least ?

I texted them the night before around 7pm for a 5pm appointment the next day. They promptly called me in the morning and confirmed my request. When I arrived, I informed them I was having moderate back pain for a week and they knew just what to do! The medium/deep pressure was PERFECT. I was so relaxed, next thing I know I was dozing off and drooling on my arm LOL! By the time I left, my back was feeling lovely and no pain whatsoever. I will definitely be back on a bi-weekly basis!

I’ve been to a lot of Asian massage spots and this is one of the best. $60 for 60 minutes. The masseuse didn’t waste time going to grab towels or washing me off like some other places. Almost 100% of the time was spent on the massage. Before starting they have you fill out your preferences in intensity of massage and location on the body which is nice. Massage was perfect. Massage table was very comfortable and they use high quality sheets. They give you a small bottle of water at the end too. Highly recommend.

After being sick with a respiratory infection and fever for 6 days, this place is what I needed! The quality of the massage itself was wonderful and they give you every minute, maybe a little more. The rooms are nice and linens smell fresh. They ask you areas of focus and really pay attention with the perfect pressure! I will come here again. I suggest paying in cash as you get a little discount.

I used to joke with a friend that this was one of those Asian massage parlors. But one day when I was looking for a place to get a massage in Columbia, I checked out the Yelp reviews and was pleasantly surprised. As a result, I gave it a try and was too has pleasantly surprised. I've been back a few times and must say I've always been happy with my massage. It's easy to get an appointment here. They have great hours. And the quality of the massage is great. They definitely give you the time that you request and a few minutes over. My one suggestion is if you are conservative or shy about your nudity, this may not be the place for you sure to cultural differences. I didn't give them 5 Stars solely because they always pressure you to pay in cash (which you do get a discount for.) Did I mention,they have punch cards? For every 10 30 minutes you but, you get 30 minutes free.

Highly recommend! The venue is clean and very tranquil. Very good price point, too. The masseuses ensure that they provide the specific massage as requested (in my case, I requested the relaxation massage with medium pressure). The staff was professional and courteous. I went for the hour massage and will be saving up for the 2 hour session very soon!

I bookmarked this place some time ago to try simply because they take walk ins all the time and are pretty affordable. I had an early meeting in Columbia that ended early, so I decided this was a perfect time to try this place out since it was near. The place is located in a strip mall and easy to find via GPS. A guy in business attire walked in while loosening his tie right before me. I assumed he's a regular as he wasn't at the intake desk at the entry, and I went in only a minute or two behind him. He apparently was already led to a room. At the intake desk, I asked for the advertised special which was $59 for a combination of Swedish and deep tissue for an hour. I also added aromatherapy for an additional fee. They gave me a reusable form with a front and back picture of an anatomical body. A wax pen was provided for me to mark areas of focus and light or firmness of massage desired. I quickly placed an X on the neck, both shoulders and upper back and I like a firm pressure massage. I carry all of my tension in my shoulders. The masseuse paid special attention to all areas marked and used just enough pressure!!! She often asked if I was ok, which I appreciated. In other massages I've always been asked if I want my scalp massaged, so I was taken aback when she started massaging my scalp. I figured it's rainy out and my hairs already a mess from the rain and humidity, so what the heck. Luckily, I don't wear a wig or weave!!! Next time, I'll be sure to say ahead of time no scalp massage please. Additionally, while she paid special attention to those areas marked it made me realize I left my necklace on. She was pretty careful around it though. At other places, I'm always reminded before hand to remove my jewelry. It would be nice if they had a little jewelry dish there on the lamp table in each room, so u can put your watch and jewels in eye sight. They have hooks and I believe I saw hangars for your clothing. But no real place to set your purse or jewels. The ambiance is nice with the music and lighting and of course the lavender in my particular room was very nice. The one thing that threw me a little was when my masseuse pretty much mounted me and used her forearms to massage my back. It felt great!!! However, I've never had that happen, so I was a little shocked initially but enjoyed the experience just the same. I will definitely return to this establishment again.

This place is well worth visiting. It is not a fancy spa experience, but they provide the absolute best massages for a great price. The masseuses are expert and truly seem to care about providing a massage that supports the well being of the client. I had severe back and shoulder pain, which the masseuse expertly attended to. After two sessions, I was relieved of pain that had lasted for months. The employees are accommodating ( I can get an appointment on the same day!) and friendly. The place is clean and I completely trust the expertise of the therapists. They also give a full hour whereas other places give you 50 minutes for the “hour” massage. I feel like I found a gem, and this will be my go to place from now on. The hot stone massages are amazing. Health promoting and well worth every dollar! Highly recommend!

I was initially skeptical of the strip mall massage place nestled between a smoke shop and a pizza place, but I couldn't have been more off the mark. I went for the first time with my wife who is from China, and as soon as we were inside and she saw Chinese writing and talked to the staff, she gave me the "this place is legit" look. I'll be the first to admit, it's not the most aesthetically pleasing place, but it's certainly clean and an effort is made with lighting and decoration, but if you're looking for a luxury spa setting, this isn't it.

If what you're looking for is the best massage in Howard County for an unbeatable price though, this is the place for you. The staff are extremely skilled and capable of being gentle as a feather or putting enough pressure down to make a diamond, all based on what you ask for, and if they feel you react to too much pressure they immediately ask and adjust. They're also unbelievably hard working. I've had massages at a several "western" style spas around and it always seems like half the time the therapist is taking little mini breaks between each motion. Here though, they work tirelessly for the whole time. They don't play any of the "60 minutes starts when you enter the room" games that I've seen at other places either. Here they don't start timing until they physically start the massage, and you get the full time, plus however long it takes for them to finish up your feet and a final pat-down.

The price is also unbeatable. If you're paying cash, you're looking at $1 a minute (realistically less, since they always go over by a few minutes). I promise you if you pay a penny less anywhere, you're not going to get half the quality of the massage you'd get here. Despite this, they always seem to have availability; I've never made an appointment more than a few hours ahead but I've always gotten the exact time I wanted, sometimes even booking a 90 minute massage less than 90 minutes ahead of time!

Bottom line: this place is good, and if you go there, you will feel good.

I had a nice massage here. Although, I did not expect the masseuse to pull down my underwear and massage my butt too, which I heard is common at Asian massage places. Not very expensive. We paid $60 for an hour. The staff speak minimal English.

I've gone to About Faces in Pikesville & Massage Envy in Elkridge regularly for years. My recent massage appt was cancelled and so I decided to take a chance and walk-in. I was able to schedule an appt same day with only a 45 min wait. I grabbed lunch while I waited and was impressed that, they sent me an appointment reminder via text.

The intake form was pretty simple and is done on a form that is reusable. I was able to add on an extra through that form. I added on the muscle warming. My experience was like a well oiled machine. Everything was timely & precise. My massage therapist was professional and thorough. I have chronic pain and she moreso focused on my muscles than my knots and nerves. It's ok, this isn't my regular therapy place. While in my massage, i actually wanted to extend my session for 30 more mins. I didn't speak up.

There are pricing differences depending on how you choose to pay (cash vs credit card). There is an ATM onsite however it's not associated with a bank. I paid the $7 more and paid by credit card for my service.

Given I have a set appointment at another massage spa, I'm less likely to patronize on the regular however, in a pinch, this place will do.

We walked in and got massages for a great price. Almost a dollar per minute.

I went for a 20 minute massage because of intense upper back pain that actually causes pain in my chest or front torso... I didn't know those were connected until I was on the table at Asian Healing Spa. My therapist was hitting all the right spots on my neck, shoulders and shoulder blades. I rearranged my schedule right there to continue the massage for 60 minutes. It was deep and very effective work. I will definitely go back.

I visited this place for the first time in search of a decent deep tissue massage. I asked for a 90 min massage and found it was worth the time and money I paid. Jane was my designated masseuse. She was helpful, pleasant and did a good job of honoring my requests for during the massage. She made sure to cover each area and spend additional time on my problem spots.
While the spa is not as polished as larger brand name spa stores, the service is good and the appointment process was simple. I did not have to provide my medical history or an emergency contact and I was able to book a same-day appointment.
The only drawback was having to pay cash for the service as opposed to paying by credit. There is an ATM machine on-site, if you don't have funds available.
Other than this, I would recommend this place to others the cost is reasonable and the service was good.

After a summer of long plane flights, road trips, hotels, camping, sleeping on hard surfaces and alot of stress I had a few sore spots. I couldn't sleep comfortably thru the night due to shoulder and back pain, I couldn't move my shoulder in certain positions without sharp pain.
I was ready to see a doctor but decided to give acupuncture a try first, which is what led my to the this place. They offer acupressure instead so that's the treatment I was expecting when I made my appt. Upon arrival I filled out the card indicating my problem areas and after brief consultation the guy at the desk suggested a deep tissue massage instead.
I've gone to expensive spas and hotel spas for deep tissue and left disappointed as they can never get hard and deep enough to sooth my pains, so I was skeptical.
This was the best deep tissue that I can remember, the masseuse walking on my back, though a bit uncomfortable, did wonders and the overall massage was very relaxing.
I left this place feeling 80 - 90% better.
It's been two weeks since my treatment and those pains haven't come back. For this reason I recommend the Asian Healing Spa, it may not be the most luxurious place but they get the job done...

I don't get massages regularly enough to provide an "expert" review. I'm a teacher (aka one of "the poors," so I have to get them whenever I save up enough "Box Tops for Education." Someone once paid for me to get a massage at a fancy spa in Downtown DC where I found religion. A few years later, I tried my luck at a massage place in a mall where a very hefty fellow did what felt like a bone marrow transplant. This place is a happy medium.

It's basically a dollar a minute. I did an hour. At first I was a little worried. The lady kept rubbing the sheet on my back instead of my actual back with the same force you'd use to say "There, there. It's only money." I cried inside a little as I thought about how many years it would take before I could save up another $60. But that turned out to be her warm up routine.

I will never doubt her thugnificence again. At some point that woman found a knot in my back that she couldn't get out with her hands. She tapped me to scoot over on the table a little bit and then (no lie) this maybe 4'11 woman hit one of those velociraptor-in-the-kitchen-of-Jurassic-Park leaps onto the table. She knelt down and put her elbow through the knot, the muscles, and the atoms in my back. By the time she was done, all of the tension that I was carrying around was in the corner on the floor crying. It's been about three days, and I feel like the lady put in a brand new spinal cord.

Just like someone else said, the timer went off and she kept going until I guess she felt like she was done. I definitely didn't feel rushed. I get what someone else said about the "lenient draping." I was about 95% uncovered the whole time. I didn't get the feeling like they offer hepatitis or anything here, so it didn't bother me. Plus the way she was Krav Maga'ing the knots in my back, I don't think she meant anything by it.

I'd give them 3 stars because I circled "relaxation" on the form, and this was more deep tissue, but I know I'm about 2 inches taller after all she did, so I'll give them 4 for being effective.

This place gives excellent massages. I threw my back out doing something silly, and was in such pain I decided to try this place out. They were conveniently located, open, and were able to see me on short notice. My therapist's name was Sarah, and she was incredibly thorough, friendly, warm, and professional. She focused on the part of my back that was in pain, and whatever she did, it worked. Aside from pain relief, the massage was very enjoyable, and I left quite relaxed. I was impressed with the quality of my 1 hour massage. Sarah went a little over time due to the added emphasis on my back.

If you are not used to an Asian massage, you should know the draping standards are a little more lenient in order to provide a full head-to-toe massage. Still very professional, just a little less draping, that's all.

My husband and I stumbled upon this place by chance, and we are so glad we did. Contrary to the reviewer's comments below, this place is not oddly arranged. There are plenty of thoughtful details throughout including a lovely lavender scent proven to relax your mind and body. We both enjoyed a 1-hour massage, and each masseuse carefully spent extra time on the areas we wanted: neck, shoulders, back. They use warm towels at the end, and my masseuse did not rush to finish when the timer was up. She easily went over 5 extra minutes. I haven't had a massage that effective and relaxing in a long time.

My husband said they found and loosened several muscle knots in his back.

Lastly, the pricing is so reasonable. 65 for 1 hour or 59 with cash.

Definitely recommend their massages!
